Day 24 - Unhappy with my reseller host

I understand being slammed, and i understand customer service well enough to know i could never do it without risking major coronary issues.  however the host i moved to (away from hostgator) is not making me happy.  One of my reseller accounts has had some serious downtime issues.  the account i performed the SEN experiment for.  I added one of my new domains to that account this morning and it is having MAJOR issues.

If i go to permalinks and click save changes, nothing happens.  If i then click around from there it just appends php files to the URL and effectively goes nowhere.  I contact support with all my troubleshooting results (reinstalls, verified ht access, etc.) and what do they say, ‘try reinstalling or looking at your ht access file’.  I admit i lost my temper at that point and threated to walk from the host because they were wasting my time by not reading my ticket.  So they fucking close the ticket to hide that they didnt read my initial, and said i was making false accusations.  I really lost my temper at that point and the emails are escalating.  We shall see how they handle things, but this is only happening on this faulty account.  This issue prevented me from completing my third site for the day.

I was, however able to get sites 13 and 15 done.  Including initial linking (digg, pingoat, rss, bmd).  However i am in a holding patter on site 14, and very frustrated.

To further things, my writer bailed.  ‘Day job is calling’ is what i was told.  So now i have to hire another writer.  This is a very painful process but apparently a necessity.  So i posted a job on odesk and will see what comes my way.  Until i get a writer, things will slow down drastically.  i am not happy.
