Day 23 - Back On Track, 3 More Sites Done

Yesterday was rough, no doubt.  But today i’m back on schedule and was able to complete sites #9,10,11.  Including the initial link building (pingoat, digg, BMD, RSS).  I’ll look into Hubs/IBs, but i’m not sure of the payout just yet so I may skip them.  I’ll also hold off on the AMAs until the first of the week so i can get them all at once.

With my new business strategy I came to a bit of a better understanding as to what I am attempting.  Think about this, when you start a business (site) you want to know if you will even have customers.  Many businesses use market research to identify if they even have a client base.  I now see building large quantities of sites as market research.  I need to know what customers are available before I invest heavily in a business (site).  So i mass produce them then look at the data before investing more heavily.  This outlook makes far more sense and makes me feel even better about building a large number of sites even if i don’t get a return on many of them.

A lot of the internet marketing game seems to be perspective based, be it writing sales pages and configuring CTAs that will be enticing from the visitor’s perspective, or be it personal perspective to really run my business like a business.
