How To Make Money Online With Article Marketing Automation (AMA) And Unique Article Wizard (UAW) - Case Study

Those of us who have been working online for a bit, or even earning a decent income from that same effort, have derived a system that works for us. Many try and bottle up their methods and sell them as the ‘one size fits all’ solution for how to make money online. But until you really get out there and start trying things out, you will never really know what does and does not work.

That is one of the, if not THE, primary reasons for this blog. To demonstrate what does and does not really work. Some of these case studies will show failures, and that is the POINT. Identifying methods that do and do not work helps to save us all the time of having to go through the pain of learning for ourselves.

Today I wanted to look at a common method. Using Article Marketing Automation (AMA) and Unique Article Wizard (UAW) to move up the SERPs.

For the uninformed, AMA (the paid service) allows you to submit a spinnable article to their service. The service then sends out a unique spin of the article to each of all the free subscribers to decide if they want to post your article (link built in) to their site(s). From my experience you can get 30-60 links a week for a well written article (probably higher as I’m kind of a lazy shit). Since they are all unique they all get indexed. Since these are private sites, you usually get a mix of good and bad PR. Typically the links are stronger with AMA than UAW, but UAW makes up for that with quantity.

Now for UAW. UAW asks you to build an article for submission to their service. I cannot disclose how they want you to do it as that breaks the terms of service. But it really doesn’t take long, especially if you leverage AMA Once you have your article submitted, UAW sends it to hundreds (sometimes thousands) of article directories and blogs. From my experience, the directories and blogs tend to be MUCH lower on the PR scale, but you get many times more links than you would with AMA. Also, since the article is ‘unique’ on each directory, each link gets indexed.

So what exactly is this case study? This case study is to determine the effective nature of combining AMA and UAW. The method is simple. I will take a site that has not been touched for a couple weeks, and see if submissions to AMA and UAW will move it up the SERPs at all. I will use no other link building method beyond these services. Yes the site is already fairly high in the SERPs from previous work, but my hunch is that AMA and UAW can move sites into the top 10 relatively quickly.

AMA will be used for the quality links, and UAW for the quantity of links. Also note that if you are not careful, UAW can easily sandbox your new sites. I will set UAW to drip out the articles at 10 per day to try and avoid the sandbox. Estimating 50 links from AMA and 70 from UAW per week puts the monthly link building to 50×4 + 70×4 = 480. This should be a fairly safe low number, and more than enough to put this site above it’s competition. But that would be 70 links PER article submitted to UAW. I plan on submitting 2-3. So tack on another 280-560 and we are staring right at 760-1040 links over a 30 day period. Hopefully still in the green for a newish site.

So, to start with, here are the SERPs for the site as it stands RIGHT NOW (as of writing this post) for all the terms linked using the articles.

Obviously I don’t have far to go for this site. And something else to note, the competition for these terms are relatively low. ~40-50k direct competitors. Nothing major. The site has been around almost two months and will probably get a PR2 or PR3 on the next go around. So it isn’t exactly hurting. As of writing this post, the site has a total of 1010 links (according to Yahoo!).

But the real question is if AMA and UAW can put it into the top 5 for the terms listed. I am sure it will go top 10 as most the terms are very close to that already.

I already have the AMA article written and will submit to AMA as soon as I complete this post. I will then turn around and submit 2-3 articles to UAW. Understand that this post will not go live for a couple more days, so by the time you read this, the articles will have been live for at least a couple days.
